Grand Opening for Freedom Bank’s new branch location in Mahwah brings community together for fun, food and prizes.
There was a little something for everyone who attended last Saturday’s Grand Opening Event at the Mahwah Branch. This newest branch location at 380 Route 17 South in Mahwah, NJ is the bank’s fourth retail branch in Northern New Jersey, preceded by locations in Maywood, Ridgewood and Guttenberg.
Among the many local dignitaries and bank directors present for the grand opening ceremony were Mayor of Mahwah, William Laforet; President of Ramapo College, Dr. Peter P. Mercer; Executive Director of The Mahwah Chamber of Commerce, Sharon Rounds and CEO of Freedom Bank, Matthew Carcich — all shared the task of cutting the ribbon.
To kick off the grand opening, the bank is offering special certificate of deposit (CDs) and money market rates for a limited time. Attendees took advantage of these promotional rates and enjoyed a fun-filled event on a perfect fall day.
The first 100 visitors received either a Starbucks or Firehouse Subs gift card. Everyone had the opportunity to take home free giveaways, enjoy a wide variety of foods and beverages, and be the first to access great promotional rates on CDs and Money Market Accounts. Knowledgeable, helpful banking professionals were on hand to answer questions and discuss products and services, including free interest-earning Kasasa checking, and the fast loan approval process for which Freedom Bank is known.
“We were delighted with the strong turn-out for our Grand Opening, and enjoyed this opportunity to meet the Mahwah community,” said Matthew R. Carcich, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Freedom Bank is dedicated to offering personalized service to individuals and businesses alike. We look forward to helping our new Mahwah customers achieve their financial goals.”
